We have identified an alternative treatment that Bob will be pursuing which has very promising results that could result in extension of Bob's life and possible cure. 15 of the last 40 stage 4 cancer patients have recovered using this treatment. Of course there is no guarantee but there is hope and miracles can happen. This treatment will require expenses for travel, lodging and the cost for the treatment itself. Bob is excited to get started.
Bob didn't not want to promote this gofundme, himself, until he knew that there was a legitimate cause for these funds such as this treatment. On behalf of Bob and his family we appreciate the donations already received and we appreciate your continued prayers and support.

On August 11th, 2020 Bob was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer that has spread and taken over 80% of his liver and has spread into his abdomen. Bob is a young - - 49 year old. He started chemo on August 21st and will continue it as long as it's tolerable. The very sad reality is that this cancer does not have a cure and Bob's time here with us is limited.
For anyone that knows Bob Lehmeyer, you know that he has a smile and a laugh that will light up any room. He has a heart of gold, he is selfless and always goes out of his way to help others. This is the time we ask Bob's friends and family to rally around him and give him the means to accomplish his bucket list items.

One way everyone can make a difference and pay tributes to Bob is to go donate blood. Bob takes great pride in faithfully donating blood every 60 days. He has a rare blood type - CMV negative, his blood goes to babies and newborns. You will light up his world if you’re able to donate!
