Stranded Disabled Veteran Accident Fund

With your generosity, please help my brother get back home. I’ve decided to not post his name to protect his identity, but those who know me know who this is for. 

My brother is a disabled veteran who has lost everything after serving two tours of duty to Iraq in 2003 and 2006. In August 2020 he had raised enough money to live out his dream to purchase a RV and travel the US. In December 2020 while visiting Grand Junction, Colorado he hit a deer with his vehicle totaling his vehicle. Since then he has been in an insurance dispute with USAA over $3,600 that was paid to him when he initially had the accident in December. Because of this dispute USAA has not paid the lien holder of the vehicle which has prevented him from being able to purchase a new vehicle that can pull his RV.  Because of this he has been stranded in a RV lot which he pays $700 a month to stay in. The lot has given him a notice that he must leave by May 1st to open spots for a function they hold every year. He did have a rental vehicle that was costing him $190 a week, but has had to return the rental after running out of funds to continue to pay for it week to week. 

As you can see this has affected my brother financial, but more than anything this has begun to greatly affect his mental and physical health. Yesterday, April 16th, he had to be rushed to the emergency room for complications with diabetes. 

I’m asking everyone who can to help raise enough funds to settle the dispute with USAA and to help him with a down payment for a new vehicle.
