Stop a proposed Deer Cull in Ludington Michigan

My name is Terry Grams, and I want to stop a deer cull scheduled for early next year in the wooded areas around Ludington. One is within the School District property in proximity to a grade school.

I have published several articles in our local newspaper, with more scheduled. I have attended city council meetings to speak out against the cull and was successful only to the point of losing by only one vote.

I believe there are legal grounds to stop this cull, but I need help with legal to stop the cull and advertising expenses to inform the public about the proposed cull.

I believe most Ludington residents are against the cull but need information and encouragement to stand up for the deer.

If this fundraising is successful, I would like to expand this effort throughout the state. Eventually, forming a not-for-profit and going nationwide to help others stop this barbaric practice.

I am not against hunting. Culls are not hunting. Even the Michigan DNR claims culls are not hunting, most likely to get around laws that prevent hunting and shooting within 450 feet of a residence without written permission of the resident.
