On July 4th Weekend (July the 7th) Chris Stoll went on a Sunday ride with a few fellow Tidewater Bikers (a local Meetup Group).
Unfortunately on that Sunday afternoon, Chris did not quite make it all the way around a turn and ended up on the side of the road.


Chris landed in a way that tweaked his neck causing a C1/C2 separation and suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. Fortunately for Chris his Spinal Cord was only severely stretched and not severed. Chris is very strong! After 3 weeks and a few surgeries later, he is breathing on his own again as well as showing signs of movement in all of his extremities.
Chris only had Liability Insurance on his motorcycle, so there will be a significant need to cover medical bills out of pocket. This incident was a culmination of many factors that could ultimately happen to any rider in Hampton Roads.


Chris's wife Lou Lou and family have been there through every step of his recovery.

After a month, Chris is on his way to what the doctor's call a 'miraculous recovery'. He is starting to regain feeling and movement in his shoulders, arms, hands, legs and feet!!! Thank everyone for their prayers and generous contributions to assist in the rehabilitation process!
