Last night my luggage was stolen, it contained what was most precious to me: my expensive, pro-level camera gear, the backups of the past two years of work (most of it unposted because of self criticism and fear of judgment) and professional makeup. Years of savings and sacrifices gone. Some of my work because I’m a shy idiot, and the moment I set foot to a good school, I started producing things I was afraid to show.
I went to the police, a witness saw the man who took advantage of me being stupid enough to take a 7-hour ride when sick, stayed awake hoping I would get a call back with good news but to no avail.
It’s all gone. Please help me buy at least some of it back.
The matter is time-sensitive because I need to keep creating for my first exhibit, which is a collective one and shows a year of photography courses, which ironically I took to master MY camera.

My gear was:
- Body: Canon EOS 6D mark II (~1400 €, but I might find it for 1000 used) ✅
- Lens: Canon EF24-105 mm 3.5-5.6 (gift from my late granny)❌
- Manfrotto tripod (~200 €) found a similar one ✅
- memory + extra battery ✅ + SDD backups ❌(priceless, but they still charge you at the store) KEEP YOUR BACKUPS IN DIFFERENT PIECES OF LUGGAGE, HAVE A SECOND BACKUP AT HOME AND A THIRD ONE ON THE CLOUD
- Professional makeup, glitter, fake blood (who’s really counting at this point?)❌
This is a blow to my heart, emotionally and economically.
Please please help me at least get the body and tripod, I learned on this camera, sacrificed a lot to be able to have one and I need to keep creating. I still have a 85mm lens at home.
