Tina's Battle With Cancer Fund
Donation protected
This journey started in November of 2015. Since then Tina has endured treatment after treatment. After five painful injections of radiation into her cervix, and six weeks of platinum based chemo, and having to have nephrostomy tubes coming out of her back to drain her kidneys into bags because the tumor has ruined her ureter tubes. The tests showed that her cancer had went into remission and then returned. She then had to go into surgery to have a radical historectomy to remove all female organs and the bladder. The surgeon went as far as he could scrapping the pelvic floor and out to the hip bones without removing bone structure. That all was done to try and save her life . November 2016 was that last surgery. This past week we came back to Peoria to get a scheduled plan for rebuilding her bladder and possibly removing the tubes. That did not happen. Instead he told Tina that the pet scan showed that her cancer has once again returned for the third time in the surgery site. This time the cancer can not be cured. The cancer has invaded her nerves leaving her leg to not work properly. Chemo is the only chance she has to keep it at bay and have a fighting chance at some quality of life. She has and will continue to put up one fight after another to survive for herself, her two young daughters , me and many many friends and family that she wishes to be able to see once again as her normal self. All things are possible. Her surgeon says this is her only chance and without it ,the cancer will in fact take her life. With it the cancer will still do what it's going to do. We only hope that a miracle happens and it goes away. Thank you in advance from her and I and our young daughters. We love you all for your support and prayers. May God save my wife from this horrible disease .
