Help Preserve Stained Glass Windows
Tax deductible
St. John's stained glass windows depict the life and ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Along with the three Saints windows; St. Ceclia, St. Bartholomew and St. Paul, these windows are remarkable pieces of historic art. The irreplaceable Ascension and St. Cecilia windows were made by F.X. Zettler of the Royal Bavarian Art Institute in Munich, Germany. Please join us in helping to restore and preserve them as St. John's looks to forward to celebrating it's 325th anniversary in 2017.
The stained glass art in our 1896 church ranges in intricacy, age and value. The restoration work will be completed in six phases. After restoration, the windows will be re-installed with a covering of laminated safety glass to provide energy efficiency, and protection from the weather and vandalism. www.stjohnskingsville.org
