I would like to thank everyone for their time and donations. My name is Yordanos Warner and I started this campaign due to the murder of my brother Steven Mayer. Steven and I grew up and lived here in Lithonia Ga our whole lives, the community is still in shock over his killing. I personally will deposit the funds from this campaign to the bank account of anyone with information that leads to a conviction in Steven N. Mayer's murder. If the funds go unclaimed they will be forwarded to Mr. Mayer, Steven's Father and closest living relative to reimburse him for his only childs final expenses..... Thanks to all.
During the early hours of September 18, 2017 Steven N. Mayer's life was tragically taken in a violent home invasion. His case is unsolved as of yet and in interest of finding answers his family and friends are using gofund to raise money to offer a reward for info leading to the capture of the criminals.
Steven was a long time resident of Lithonia, Ga raised there by his father (Steven Mayer) and paternal grandmother ( Esther Mayer). Steven was very passionate about family especially his father who worked hard to provide a very nurturing childhood for his only child and son. Steven's life was dedicated to showing his father that much deserved gratitude. He excelled as a gifted student growing up and developed a very enterprising spirit. His close knit family atmosphere extended to his close friends due to Steven's loyal and supportive personality.
Lovingly Steven referred to his closes friends as his "brothers" and he treated those bonds as such. Encouraging his brothers to invest in themselves, own property, build your brand and most of all love your family. He supported his brothers through their struggles, always willing to help carry a burden. He will be missed immensly and that is a pain that will not subside but our hope is that this campaign will prevent this pain from effecting others.
Steven's promising young 30 year old life was cut short senselessly due to gun violence a crime much too prevelant in our country. Indeed it is one of the worst and most sudden experiences and it took Steven one of the best of his community. In an effort to get some leads and answers to his family we appreciate any support. All funds in their entirity will go towards a reward for info leading to solving Steven N. Mayer's case.
