Steve Smith “Standing Sky” is in great battle against a severe case of the West Nile virus. His body has been hit hard. He is in the hospital in critical care, near his home, Six Nations Reserve. He has been sick since the end of this August.
Renowned for his pottery and beautiful creative spirit, Steve lived his life with generosity and kindness, sharing stories with all and through his pottery design. The things he wanted most in life were peace, happiness and harmony.
His road to recovery is going to be very long and his family hopes to keep him in the best care possible. The funds will be directed to his immediate and long-term medical care. Costs include: hospital bed, ramp to house, rehabilitation costs: physio, therapy, etc.
Steve Smith is a special gifted person. Self-less and wise…we really want him to make a full recovery to keep sharing his stories with everyone…especially his jokes. He is so important, let’s keep him in light and love.
