Steve Robles -Hurricane Harvey Fund

Late on Friday August 25, 2017 Hurricane Harvey made landfall on the Gulf Coast of Texas as a monster Category 4 storm. It brought with it 130 mph winds and unprecedented rainfall. Our co-worker and friend Steve Robles and his family were right in the middle of it, sheltering in their home in southwest Houston. By 2:30 Sunday morning after the storm had dropped 40+ inches of rain, Steve sent out a plea for help; he and his wife, along with his mother-in-law and his 2 year old son were trapped by rising flood waters. They were in the attic. They waited in fear and uncertainty for several hours before the family was finally rescued. We are so grateful that they were evacuated to safety; however, they lost everything to the flooding. We expect the cost to rebuild will be overwhelming so we want to help them in any way we can. We are raising money for their immediate needs (shelter, clothing, food.) All donations will go in full directly to Steve. I hope you will consider giving to this worthwhile cause as we rally around our friend at this challenging time.




1.    Who you are and where you’re from - I am Rachel Moye, I live in Orlando and work with Steve at Quest Diagnostics.

3.    How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible) Steve and his family will use the funds to replace the household items they lost to flood waters (clothing, furniture, etc)

4.    Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary/ies - Steve will have direct access to withdraw the funds.
