Steve Friedlander Memorial Fund

The Celebration community lost a dear friend yesterday, when Steve Friedlander passed away suddenly. Steve was an active member of the Celebration community, often seen on the baseball fields coaching his son’s Little League team or on the sidelines of high school games, cheering on his daughters as Varsity cheerleaders.
Steve could often be seen around Walt Disney World, where he worked as a Disney Vacation Club Advanced Sales Associate. Steve started vacation memories for so many visiting Disney, and his legacy as a magic-maker will undoubtedly live on.
There was nothing in the world that Steve loved more than his family, who will need financial and emotional support from friends and family to handle their great loss. Steve leaves behind his wife of 18 years, Denise Sussman Friedlander, and three beautiful children: Emily, 16, and a Junior at Celebration High School, Grace, 14, a freshman at the same school, and Ben, 9, a fourth grader at Celebration K-8.
Steve loved spending time with his many friends, going to the beach, traveling, and cheering on the New York Yankees.
We are reaching out to Steve’s community of family and friends to offer financial support while Denise and Steve’s children begin to make sense of this tragedy. This assistance will allow Denise to stay at home with her children as long as necessary and to focus on rebuilding their lives and focusing on their future.
