Help raise money for Enzo’s spinal surgery

Hi, my name is Caitlin I'm fundraising for Enzo, Enzo has become a huge part of our family over the last six months. He brings us nothing but pure joy and happiness.
 

This is not something that we would usually do, a few people have suggested this as a last resort.

 

Around 5 weeks ago, Enzo changed within himself. He began walking differently, dragging his back paws, knuckling the floor and becoming a little wobbly. We thought maybe he'd pulled a muscle so let him rest. Over the weeks we saw his walking deteriorate so took him to the vets.

 

Our nightmare started from then on. The vets did x-rays and confirmed that Enzo had mild hip dysplasia.. but also spinal compression. They prescribed him with medication, Yumove & Loxicom to see if he would improve but unfortunately Enzo is getting worse and can only just hold himself to toilet outside before falling over.

 

Enzo is needing to be referred to a specialist vets for an MRI scan and spinal surgery to try save his life and give him a better way of living.

 

Unfortunately the vets have confirmed that this is something he was born with and there is no way we could have prevented it but we can try our very best to save his life! He is six months old and has plenty of years ahead of him. We would never forgive ourselves if we didn't do everything and anything possible to try and save him.

 

Sadly we do not have the kind of money to cover the cost of the surgery and we will all be coming together scraping our savings to try our best to pay this bill. But every little helps, any donation big or small would mean the absolute world to us it would be hugely appreciated.

 

We have everything crossed and are praying we can help him live the quality of life that he deserves! He's currently on a 14 day crate rest as recommended by the vets.

 

So far with your kind donations we have managed to fund an MRI scan for our little E and we are on the road to raising a further £4,500 for the required surgery.
