My wonderful friend, accomplished conservation biologist Stephen Awoyemi, has been accepted at the Central European University in Budapest for intensive PhD studies in 2018 and beyond.
Stephen is internationally known and loved for his expansive mind, his great heart, his passionate and wise work bridging conservation, faith communities and public policy. A great 2015 Cambridge interview with Stephen on his work and life goals is here.
He's won a full scholarship to the Duke University Science Policy Summer Institute through his many talents, and yet will be deferring this course to after he starts his PhD in Budapest. To help him get there, we have calculated that he needs to raise $4100 to cover his airfare, accommodation, and food. Can you help?
