52 years looking into client faces asking, "how do I make this person look their best? What qualities
should my cut or color highlight?" These questions--asked a thousand times over a 52-year career--
are answered each time Stephen meets a new client. Only an Artist can achieve success always.

When I met Stephen Paul he was 22-years-old. Young, handsome, successful. He was one of the
top cutters at Willowbrook Mall in New Jersey. A huge Salon specializing in precision cuts. People
crowded the front window to watch the scissors fly, the hair fall, a beautiful head completed. A
perfectionist, He followed his clients out the door fixing and flicking.

He raised a family, worked long hours getting everybody in. His clients became his friends. He was invited to their celebrations, included in family albums. He did their first haircut, their wedding cut, their grandma and grandpa cuts. It was a remarkable, rewarding profession. He had skill, he had style. He had talent, personality, generosity. His customers
loved him and he loved them.

Now 69, Stephen was still doing all these things until his heart cried out January 8. Off to the ER. Tests, quadruple by-pass surgery, Aortic valve replacement, ICU. Home to recuperate. Restrictions: No raising arms above waist, no lifting more than 5 pounds, no driving, no pushing, no pulling and support your chest with pillow when you cough. He can't cut hair.

No cutting, no income which is why we need you--his friends. Only for a short time is help required--three months--enough time to rehabilitate his heart then he can go back to making people happy because when they look in the mirror they love how they look.
