Stephanie's Brain Cancer Fund
Donation protected
Near the end of January of this year, Stephanie was diagnosed with the late stages of aggressive brain cancer. She was told by more than one doctor it was impossible to remove and statistically she had only 15 months to live. Through the grace of God working through family, friends, and social media, Dr. Sughrue, a world renowned brain-surgeon, heard of her story and said he could remove it.
After hours of surgery, 1,300 miles away from home, he was able to successfully remove over 95% of the tumor. Despite the great news, Stephanie, mother of a 2 year old daughter and wife of a military officer, still has a long road ahead to remove the remainder of the cancerous cells. She will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation soon.
The funds will be used to offset expenses her and her family incur while living in a hotel during treatment, care of their daughter, flights for family, and medical expenses not covered by insurance.
