Stephanie's Leukemia Fund

Friends, our busy life took an unexpected turn at the end of August. After feeling sluggish all summer, Stephanie learned she was severely anemic which led to a bone marrow biopsy and a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. We immediately drove to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where Stephanie has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for the last three weeks. This was a bombshell to be sure and we are grateful her care is in such capable hands. Leukemia is an aggressive cancer and also responds well to treatment, especially in someone young. Moving forward we will be preparing for a bone marrow transplant.

We know this is the beginning of a long road, yet we are optimistic.

Robear is here in Rochester with Stephanie. We know we will be here through the middle of October and there will be subsequent trips back here.
