The time has finally come and a very special ski ing holiday in Austria (February 2019) is booked for my daughter Stephanie. It has been quite a life journey already being born with a very rare chromosome abnormality, in short resulting in 24/7 care needed in all aspects of life, including daily seizures.
Her enthusiasm for life despite these challenges is both a personal inspiration to me and others who care for Stephanie and know her well.
She loves being outdoors and has a taste for speed (blame her dad), as I found out taking her to the Chill Factor in Manchester wheelchair ski ing, hence this big holiday with her dad now.
The donation target by 30th November is simply to pay for the additional medical needs, transportation required and carers.
