Stephanie's fight for LIFE!

I first want to express my sincere gratitude for the generous love and support that each of you have given over the years. I am blessed to have so many individuals that I personally know, vicariously know through family and friends, and those of you know may identify with me through my cancer story. After spending time in prayer and meditation and discussing my major change in the journey of life, I made the decision that I cannot fight this battle alone.

I am reaching out to request financial assistance for my recent and ongoing medical expenses related to my re-diagnosis of stage IV breast cancer. Currently, I have started a new regimen to fight my breast cancer including oral chemotherapy, monthly doctor’s visits, bloodwork, and a pet scan and bone scan every three months. These unexpected medical expenses have created an undue burden, as I am only able to work part-time at this time.

My original diagnosis was in June 2013 with stage IV breast cancer. I made a decision to fight for my life! I went through intense chemotherapy, oral chemo, double mastectomy, and various other medications monthly. I have been in remission for about 4 years. After my hysterectomy in December 2017, the pathology came back that breast cancer was in my ovaries. I went through various scans, tests, bloodwork, and doctor’s appointment the first part of this year. I found on January 31, 2018 that my breast cancer has come back and is in my bones again and has spread to new areas per my most recent scans.

Now more than ever, I have a zest for life and am work on living every day to its fullest. I am continuing to fight like a girl and live each day with faith, gratitude, and love.
