Stephanie & Miles
Donation protected
Many of us, if not all of us, have been where our friend, Stephanie, is at the moment. First one thing happens, then another, followed by another and yet another difficult situation. That domino effect. You know the feeling. Like your entire world will cave in on you completely if anything else happens, and . . . . then it does.
We all know by now, that Stephanie and Sydney's fur baby, Miles, had a traumatizing, and what could have been deadly, event at the dog park yesterday. Miles was off the leash and unfortunately had a run in with another dog who wan't perhaps as happy to see Miles as Miles was to see him.
Stephanie had to rush Miles to the vet which turned into a very expensive visit.
We've all been there. A sick child, parent or pet, it doesn't matter. You do what you need to do to save the ones you love.
Being a single parent is enough stress all by itself, but toss in the stress of unemployment and mounting bills, and now a vet bill that's out of this world, and our hands are in the air as we wave the white flag in full surrender!
I'm certain you all have at least one memory of Stephanie being there for you as a colleague, friend, sister or all of the above. The countless times she made you laugh so hard your stomach hurt, the positive words she had for you on some of your toughest days, the love and encouragement she showed you on some of your best days.
So, how about we all show Stephanie, and Miles, just how much we love them and they mean to us! I'm only asking that you can give what you can give. Nothing more. I know Stephanie appreciates anything we can do.
