We are raising money to purchase supplies and materials for the STEMS4Girls STEMLit Program, and any donation will help make an impact. The STEMS4Girls Literacy Program is our biweekly tutorial and enhancement program geared towards minority students ages 5 through 12, intended to stimulate interest in STEM education and careers.
More about the STEMS4Girls STEMLit Program: Through the use of hands-on engagement in activities and inquiry-based exploration, we wish to enhance our students’ enthusiasm for STEM. Students will also receive instruction of the scientific method as they conduct research and oral presentations of their findings. All activities are free of charge to our students.
More about STEMS4Girls: STEMS4Girls provides STEM-related support and services to young ladies from underserved communities. Through afterschool enrichment programs, we hope to foster an interest in STEM related fields of study and serve as a place where lifelong STEM relationships are developed, nurtured, and refueled.
