STEM Day at the Minnesota State Fair

Since 2009, SciMathMN in partnership with non-profits, student groups, and local businesses has provided thousands of Minnesota State Fair-going families with hands-on learning, interactive STEM exhibits, and entertainment. STEM Day at the Fair sparks STEM interest, connects parents with STEM resources in the community, connects young adults with college learning resources, and showcases local employers’ commitment to cultivating the STEM workforce for the future.

As part of the Minnesota State Fair, 2020 STEM Day at the Fair was canceled due to COVID-19 and we need your help to makes sure STEM Day 2021 happens as planned.

SciMathMN advocates for effective, engaging, and rigorous STEM education opportunities for all Minnesota students, preparing them for citizenship, career, and college. 

Funds will be used to support general operations to make up for the budget shortfall created by the cancellation of in-person events including STEM Day at the Fair.
