Starting a non-profit farm

Just over a year ago my son was diagnosed with an extremely rare disorder called ADNP syndrome. In another few years he will age out of the school system but still need full time care and supervision. Instead of looking to the government to provide support services for my family, I decided to come up with a solution on my own. 8 years ago I bought a former group home on 15 acres with the thought that somehow I could run a business here that would both support and possibly employ my son and others who face the same challenges. Unfortunately, as a single mother, I have been drowning under the upkeep and operating costs of this property and have been unable to come up with the funds I need to start farming. My business plan involves installing a unit where I can grow greens year round and sell them to local supermarkets. Any and all profits from this endeavour would go right back into scaling up the number of units on the property and starting a day program here that involves the farming work, community engagement as well as structured activities.
