Starbuck Music Department: Field Trip Fundraiser

As our students continue to develop in the performance arts, we need opportunities for performance and evaluation that support continued growth. This field trip provides just that. The excitement begins as we depart school and travel to the festival performance site - Johnsburg High School. Each group will perform for adjudicators. Adjudicators provide each ensemble with a running evaluation with recorded comments. Afterwards, students get to celebrate their hard work and achievement by traveling to Six Flags Great America for a fun afternoon enjoying the rides and attractions.

Who - All qualifying 7th and 8th grade Band, Choir, and Orchestra Students

What - Trills and Thrills Music Festival

Where - Johnsburg High School (Johnsburg, IL) and Six Flags (Gurnee, IL)

When - Friday, May 19, 2022 (Depart Starbuck 9:00 am, return at approximately 8:00 pm - you must arrange your own transportation home upon return)

How - We will travel in School buses

Cost - $75.00 ($30 due March 15th) We are continuing to fundraise. At this time, the final cost will be less than $75, but the exact amount is dependent on the success of our fundraising efforts.

Cost for Six Flags Season Pass Holders - $38.00 ($30 due March 15th) We hope that our fundraising will reduce this final cost as well.
