Starbeck Christmas Lights 10,000 step challenge

Hi, my name is Debbie Ann Glover Ward, mother of 5 and I have 8 lovely grandkids with another due in December. I work with Special Educational Needs children and at Starbeck Conservative Club. It has been a very hard 18 months on all of us and I want to help bring some happiness to my community. Our Starbeck Christmas Lights Appeal desperately needs public funds to decorate our High Street with beautiful lights. Our community has so many vulnerable residents of all ages. These lights bring sensory and psychological joy to them and Christmas cheer to all of us.
I have set myself a huge daily task for the whole of November - 10,000 steps per day, that is over 150 miles! Not bad for me! I will wear my Garmin watch and record the daily total and give updates. I want you to please sponsor me whether you can offer £1 or £50 to help me raise £500 for The Starbeck Christmas Lights Appeal. This money will help Chrissie Holmes and her team test, check, erect and maintain the lights for another year. We might even be able to add to them.
