Stanton's Army
Donation protected
Stanton has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He had swollen lymph nodes for about 3 1/2 months, went to Children's Hospital in Aurora, was evaluated and tested on August 8th and received the diagnosis on August 13th.
He and his mom (and sometimes other family members) spent the next 4 weeks in Denver, in and out of Children's Hospital, receiving the first phase of treatment. They are back in Durango now, for the second phase of a 3 1/2 year treatment plan.
As you can imagine, this has had a huge financial impact on his family and the financial need will continue until he is cured. Stanton has not been able to go back to school and his mom is currently unable to work as she cares for him during this challenging time. Stanton is continuing chemotherapy here in Durango and will need make additional trips to Children's Hospital as scheduled.
Any donations will go toward medical costs, travel and daily living expenses as this situation has cut the family's income by half, while greatly increasing expenses.
Thank you for considering a donation for Stanton and his family.
