Stanton Horse Farm Fire

Donation protected
In times of tragedy we all ask what can we do to help. This is a way, besides being there to comfort to show our support.

On a normal Tuesday October 2, 2018 my parents Rick and Janice Stanton experienced the most heartbreaking loss of their lives. My father returned home from visiting friends to see his beloved horse barn in flames. Without thinking he jumped into action entering the barn with intentions of saving his three horses. After repeated attempts of running into the blaze to coax, prod, and plead with the horses to get out, he was overcome with smoke and fire and had to stop rescue attempts. Much to his distress all three horses were lost in the fire.
My dad will forever be a hero in my eyes for his bravery.

I’m hoping in time after much healing they will rebuild. These horses were their passion and treated them like their children. My mom raised Molly from a 4 month old, she just recently turned two. She was going to start breaking her and had hopes to breed her next year. My dad enjoyed working with and competing with Mike and Don in the Horse Pulling Community. They had just recently won their last Pulling Competition.

Any amount you can help donate to get them back on track to rebuilding would be greatly appreciated.
Words of comfort and Support are always needed.
