Standing in the Gap for Yvette

Hello everyone, as some of you may know Yvette was admitted to the ICU at San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland on January 9th due to having abdominal pain.
It was determined that she had a bowel blockage which had stemmed from complications of a previous surgery.
Yvette was put on medication to help break down the blockage and minimize her pain. She also had a Nasogastric intubation in order to remove some of the blockage.
This did not seem to help matters so the Doctors decided she would need emergency surgery.
Yvette and family were advised this would be a high risk surgery for her, but she would absolutely need it done.
On January 19th Yvette went in for surgery. The Doctor's removed a large piece of her small intestine and were able to avoid her from having to have a colostomy bag.
Yvette was then transferred back to ICU for recovery.
Family was advised that her heart rate was high coming from surgery, but they would continue to treat and monitor her.
On January 21st the family received a call from the hospital and was advised to come to Yvette's bedside because she did not seem to respond to the surgery well. Yvette's heart rate had elevated and blood pressure was so low it had to be supported by three different medications. Her kidneys were beginning to fail at this time as well.
Family and friends immediately went into prayer and rushed to the hospital. By the grace of God Yvette's heart rate had significantly lowered and they were able to get her blood pressure under control.
Yvette remains in the ICU at this time and with continued prayer we know she will be able to return home.
Yvette is currently a student at Chaffey College.
Yvette had to drop her classes during this time due to her being hospitalized. Yvette is a single mother with two beautiful children at home.
We have created this GoFundMe page in order to assist with Yvette's medical and living expenses for the duration of her hospital stay.
