Standardbreds in Kill Pens Need Homes

My family has adopted 7 of these guys and we couldn't imagine our lives without them or if they had shipped to slaughter. All of these horses were bred to race, when their racing career is over they usually end up with the Amish, who use them as driving buggy horses. When they can no longer perform as expected they are taken to auction when a kill buyer gets them. They are on borrowed time until a home is offered and funds to release them from the kill pen are raised. Currently there are 40 of them in one kill pen in PA.
