Anyone who knows my mom knows she’s the kind of person that’s always on the go, willing to do anything for anyone, and would give her last to someone.

On Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, she was involved in one of the multi-car crashes on the Causeway due to fog. She suffered a concussion, broken sternum, broken kneecap with detached tendon, and shattered heel. She had surgery on her knee and is waiting to have surgery on her heel in about 3-4 weeks. She’s going to be in the hospital for a little while, and her recovery will be challenging.

I have created this to help my mom get the long-term care she requires and offset any extraordinary cost that she will be burdened with. My dad will have to miss work to help tend to her on days that others can't, as well as getting her to and from therapy. The last thing I want is my mom to stress over her finances while trying to recover. Any amount is appreciated, and if you're unable to donate, please offer prayers of strength through this journey.
