The Situation: For over a decade, UNR has allegedly permitted and ratified a pattern of misconduct. This misconduct is said to have included abuse, intimidation, deterrence, silencing, dismissal, and retaliation against foreign students and junior faculty members. Vulnerable individuals, including those on temporary visas, allegedly faced sex and/or labor exploitation under power imbalance, lack of support, and a culture of retaliation.
