Stand with Courtney: Protect Her Family

I'm asking for donations to cover Courtney's legal expenses.

Courtney has been diagnosed and has been receiving treatment for complex post-traumatic stress disorder. Even through all of this, she has continued to prioritize the needs of her children.

Because she chose to get inpatient treatment, the children's father has filed a change in custody motion to be the primary residential parent.

Courtney has been working tirelessly to gather all of the information that documents how she has been able to provide for their physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.

I can't share details because this is an open court case. What I can say is that weaponizing the courts to attack the mother of your children is devastating to the mom and children. Many abuse victims don't seek mental health help treatment for this exact reason. I am very proud of her for asking for help. It's not always easy to do.

Legal Aid cannot help with custody issues in our area.
