In the last decade Heroin use more then doubled in young adults 18 to 25 years. Deaths have tripled since 2010.
In New Jersey 781 heroin related deaths in 2014. A per capita rate of 8.3 deaths per 100,000 people more then triple the national rate. 28,332 People were admitted to substance abuse treatment programs.
Of those seeking treatment the most were in Ocean County(OC). Population in OC is 6.5% of the State of NJ yet admitted for treatment is 13% of the State of NJ.
100% of the proceeds will go to CFC Loud N Clear and TOPAC, two non profit organizations. The funds will go towards Prevention, Intervention, and Recovery. All men, woman, and children who are suffering from this addiction will benefit from your donation.
Our goal is to raise $5000 by January 7th, 2017. Our goal is to hand CFC Loud N Clear and TOPAC each a check for $2500 during The 5th Annual Big Man's Clarence Clemons Birthday Bash at Bar Anticipation in Lake Como, NJ.
This benefit event, which runs all day and night, will feature headliners: Gary U.S. Bonds, John Cafferty and Tunes, John Eddie and his Dirty Ol Band, The Big RoaD All Star Band, The Nick Clemons Band, JT Bowen, Tommy Byrne, Killer Joe and many others. You can purchase tickets from the link below:
