Stanislava Marusic was recently diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer at the age of 43. For those of you who know her, you know that she is an extraordinary woman. As her family, our hope and prayer is to see her return to being a healthy wife, mother and mentor to her students.
During her initial treatment, it was determined that the
cancer had metastisized to her bones and lymphnodes. This resulted in her becoming completely immobile and she underwent two separate surgeries to her spine and femur. Since then, she has started chemotherapy to battle against this devastating disease. She has a long road ahead of her.
Because of this, she is unable to work and due to there being travel associated with her treatments, this has also resulted in her husband having to take time from work. As some of her medical expenses are not covered, this is putting her and her family in financial difficulty.
Stanislava is undoubtedly one of the strongest women we know. She is always putting others before herself, she is compassionate, loving and dedicated to her endeavors.
Now, it's time that we send back some of that love and support to Stanislava. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated.
