Stand by Arthur Fox

My precious dad, Arthur Fox, has endured so much. As most of you know, the Lord has brought him through many obstacles in his health in the last 3 years. He endured 2 brain tumor surgeries in Tulsa that led him to a final brain surgery at M.D. Anderson in Houston where the final removal of the tumor took place. He endured a hernia surgery. He endured a massive cut from behind his ear to his Adam’s apple for removal of Severe Melanoma. He has had a total of (atleast) 20 skin cancer areas removed on his body in the last 2 years! He recently had a Heart Cath procedure done to find out that he has Mild Coronary Artery Disease where he must take a statin daily to ensure nothing worsens with his heart. Now, finding out that he had a malignant area on his lower right leg that was categorized as Severe Melanoma, once again. If all this doesn’t scream an attack of the enemy then I don’t know what does. One thing is FOR SURE though, our God is bigger than anything that has come against my dad. Our God has been so good!
On January 12th of this year, my dad entered that surgery room at the Oklahoma Surgery Hospital in Tulsa with the support and prayers of his family and friends and with faith that the Lord has a plan in all of this. The malignant area was large enough that they had to take a skin graft from his thigh to sew his lower leg back up. They also went in behind the knee and in his groin area and took out one sentinel lymphnode in each area to send off for testing. A few days into recovery, he went to an appointment to follow up with the surgeon to find out that the lymphnodes were inflamed and cancer had spread to them. We instantly began to pray for healing over my dad’s body. After further PET Scan testing, the results came back negative!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!! While it sounds all good and dandy, the surgeon has still referred my dad to M.D. Anderson in Houston for possible removal of the rest of the nodes in the right leg, as well as, further treatment(chemo or immune therapy). Once cancer has made its way into the lymphnodes, they do not take it lightly. They are going to take all precautionary measures to make sure that even the microorganisms of cancer have been fought off. The very best place for my dad to be is at M.D. Anderson, where they have the greatest technology and doctors! We are thankful he will be in such good hands!
So I’m asking first and foremost for all the prayer warriors out there to intercede and pray for healing for my dad. Secondly, I’m asking for you to pray about giving to my parents to help with all these medical expenses and financial needs in this challenging season of their lives. Neither of them have any social media and have no clue (yet) that I have stepped out in faith to help them.  I decided to not ask their approval in doing this but to just see how the Lord blesses them through it They have both missed so much work and will continue to miss work as this medical journey is taking them to Houston on February 26th to further my dad’s treatment. My mother, Joyce Fox, has taken care of my dad every step of the way and they have endured these last 3 difficult years with faith in the Lord, like I have never seen before. Without a doubt, we trust that in God’s plan through this hardship, he will continue to provide and take care of the medical expenses and paychecks that will be missed while they are both out of work. Nothing is impossible when Christ is centered. I believe that the Lord has something in store for my parents and the best is yet to come! Please consider standing by Arthur Fox by making a donation toward his medical expenses.
-Any donations for my parents will be nothing less than a complete blessing Above all, please continue to pray for my dad!
