St. Albans, Queens is a gem that is being hidden by neglect and despair.
Reason & Truth Inc. is now going to change that but we need your help to do so.
A collaborative effort to protect our local environment and ensure that trash and recyclables stay out of our waterways can get everyone involved in being functional and responsible stewards of the environment.
All donations and proceeds will go to buying trash receptacles to place in the residential areas of St. Albans. It will also go to aiding volunteers with supplies and equipment to get the job done.
Let us show the world that us young people can pioneer in changing the world, one step at a time.
Brief History...& More info....
"Fitting the right pieces into the community" In 1899, St. Albans was named after Saint Albans from Hertfordshire, England, which itself was named after a Christian martyr. It was home to famous golfers, athletes like Babe Ruth, jazz musicians and the Veterans Administration. So why don't we take more care and pride in it? The St. Albans Queens Neighborhood Cleanup Initiative is all about Combatting Trash and Promoting Holistic Sustainability. We are focused in a collaborative effort to protect our local environment and ensure trash and recyclable stay out of our waterways by purchasing and installing trash receptacles and involving the youth in cleaning up (Clean Up Da Hood Day). We also aim to raising the aesthetics of the community by promoting young and aspiring artists to display their skill set in unattractive areas which will showcase the essence of the community and its residence. We hope you would join us and/or donate to the cause. Like our page and message us to learn how you can get involved.
