Staceys Liver Transplant

I'm 43 years old. I was diagnosed with a fattly liver when I was a very small child (8-10 years old) When I was 29 I was told it had progressed to cirrhosis. In the last year I've been getting sicker and sicker.

I have had approximately 14 paracentesis in the last 8 months. (removal of the fluid in my abdomen) I have had  varices banding 3 times. The last time being due to them bleeding.  Since then I haven't been able to eat much, my muscles are wasting away, It's hard to walk very far because I'm so weak.

I have been going through the process of trying to get on the transplant list, well I learned yeasterday that they are pushing me through the process because of the state of my health. (Where I live is an "as needed" state)

I fought with myself about making this. I don't like asking for help. But after paying for my moms final cost in May/ June we have no savings and this is happening so fast.  There's a good chance it will happen before Christmas.

We don't have a nest egg any more and with my husband having to take weeks off work I'm not sure how we're going to get by.  And I'm going to have to have someone to come help take care of me. My insurance will cover a visiting nurse but that isn't  going to cover the time while my husband is working.Not to mention and unseen expenses that I'm sure will come about. I see others that need more help and I tried to guess what we what we will need without being greedy. I'm not looking to make money, I honetstly don't know how much everything is going to costs....co-pays, they couldn't give me a price on the meds because my insurance will only cover if it's through their mail in pharmacy and they want the script first, any medical supplies/ equipment that my insurance won't cover.....I don't really really know whats in store. I just really need some help. And It could happen in 3 weeks or 3 months so I figured I needed to start this if I was going to do it now.
