Monthly Expenses

Update 3/22/2023: I want to express my sincerest thanks for all who have donated and/or shared my fundraiser. March's monthly expenses are taken care of.

Now a bit of positive news: I accepted a job offer; however, it does not start until April 24th. I am still waiting on PA unemployment's decision regarding my claim. The holdup is due to my previous job, which honestly doesn't surprise me. Still, it's my hope things go through and I receive any backpay before April 5th (the last day to send rent). In the event it does not, I once again ask for any assistance you can provide. Again, donate only if you can.

My name is Serena, and on 2/1/2023, I unexpectedly lost my job. I applied for unemployment the same day; however, as of 2/19/2023, I have not received confirmation of my claim status. I submit job applications daily, log my job search activities, and file my weekly claims. It's just a waiting game right now.

While able to cover February's rent, along with my personal bills and food with my last paycheck, March is fast approaching. I live with my boyfriend and sister, who are on fixed incomes. With the status of my claim still unknown, I respectfully ask for whatever assistance you can provide, or help me spread the word. Please donate only if you can.
