Would you give your life for your kids? Every parent must certainly answer “yes!” What about $5 or $10? What is the price of a happy child? How much should having a bright future cost?
We love our kids. We want to give them the very best education possible. We believe our school provides our children that bright future which secures for them hope and happiness. We all know this world is bonkers right now and looks all the less hopeful to some. Due to the current COVID hurdles and Minnesota state restrictions our academy has had to cancel all but one of our annual fundraisers. St Robert Bellarmine Academy relies heavily on our fundraisers to support the financial needs of our school as well as maintain a reasonable tuition for our school families.
St. Robert Bellarmine Academy is a privately owned K-12 Catholic school of 80 students. We are a school that does not receive the same aid as state-funded schools and funds are needed ASAP to continue to cover ongoing expenses and prepare for the upcoming school year. Our Go Fund Me goal represents the shortfall from the loss of several of our annual fundraisers. Because of COVID and the economy, our families must work and struggle even harder this year just to maintain their own homes. We recognize everyone faces hard times but keeping our school open, paying our bills and our heroic teachers is vital to our church and our future. To reach our goal would be a blessing and a huge relief on the financial toll this new world of COVID has created.
We have been extremely blessed and fortunate to be able to maintain our continually growing school, given the situation. But we are in danger of losing everything we have been able to build over the last few decades if we cannot raise the funds needed.
With all of the negativity hitting us in the current news cycle, our students have been a continued ray of light and a beacon of hope in these uncertain times. They are a constant reminder that we must continue to pray and work to create a better future for them. And what better way to counteract all the fear and negativity we encounter daily than to help further a student’s Catholic education. We believe that all parents have the right to the school of their choice for their children but that right hangs by a thread for us unless we can get your help.
Any amount you can afford will help. Any prayers you offer will help. We are trusting in God’s Providence and in your prayers and generosity to take care of our kids.
