In Loving Memory of Aileen Ginty: St. Paul's Nursery School was founded in 1969 by Aileen Ginty, when her youngest was ready for pre-school. She started with 10 children. As a child advocate and educator, Aileen believed that developmentally young children learn vital skills through play. She wanted to create an educationally safe environment to foster the total child and what better time than when she was "almost" ready to get back to work thus staying with her daughter, implementing her beliefs and vision, and providing a developmentally appropriate program for young children.
"Our (St. Paul's Nursery School's) mission is to provide a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment in which children can learn through play. We strive to foster the community of the teacher, parent & child to help support the total development and growth of the child."
St. Paul's Nursery School is an intricate part of the Fairfield Ct community and it is very fitting that we create this scholarship in her memory. Please feel free to visit the schools website to get a glimps
of her legacy first hand. http://www.stpaulsnurseryschool.net
