Lindsey’s Fight

Hello everyone! 

On Tuesday, September 29th, my sister (Lindsey) was having severe side pain. She went to the doctor and they did some tests and admitted her into family birth place in the hospital. They ran some more tests, did an ultrasound and found that parts of her placenta were left inside her. She gave birth September 20th... parts of her placenta were in her for 9 days.. She then went into emergency surgery where they removed the remaining parts of the placenta, and then was moved into ICU. Her temperature sky rocketed to 106 after surgery and they knew something was still wrong. However, they were able to decrease her fever for the night. On Wednesday, she was having severe kidney pain and they did a CT scan and found a 8mm size stone blocking her ureter. She then had another emergency surgery, where they put a stent to open her kidney so it could drain. Her left kidney is 15x15 and her right kidney is 12x4. While they were in there they found out she was also in renal failure, and septic shock. She also has Urosepsis and E-coli in her urine. She keeps having episodes where her fever spikes to 104 and she begins shaking, and then her fever goes back down. On a positive note, today, Friday October 2nd, Lindsey was moved to acute care! 

Lindsey gave birth to my nephew on September 20th not knowing any of this would happen. She also has a 1 1/2 year old, a 11 year old, anda 12 year old. Lindsey is a Stay-At-Home mom.Her husband, Zach, hasn’t been able to work for obvious reasons and we aren’t sure when he will go back to work as Lindsey still has a long road to recovery. I’m asking if you can please donate to help relieve some weight off their shoulders with some medical expenses.
