SRFC Under 8's and Under 7's sponsored walk

On Sunday 23rd February our u7 u8 and U9 teams will be putting on their walking shoes and follow in the footsteps of young Lambton and ‘gan searchin’ for the worm.
Starting from Herrington Country Park the mini explorers will then follow the worm that wrapped itself 10 times round Penshaw Hill to the summit and complete the Penshaw Monument Heritage Trail 1
What makes this walk even more important is we will be donating 50% of all funds raised to a fellow Rugby player (7) who has recently contracted meningitis and is facing huge challenges as result. We feel as a rugby community its important to support the family.
We are asking our mini explorers to trek and impressive 4 miles on their fast feet to raise much needed funds for the teams and for our Skipton RFC player.
