Malmesbury Animal Sanctuary
Hi and thanks for stopping by,
We are raising funds to support the running costs of the animal sanctuary on Foxley Road. Since we have taken over, time, money and much love has gone into repurposing the site into a suitable home for the animals. This is their forever home and we have pledged to look after them in a way that suits them, to their timetables, to their needs, forever.
We currently home two alpacas, five goats, seven emus, 2 sheep and various chickens. We are approximately 34 volunteers and every penny goes into supporting the sanctuary.
Our fixed costs hover around the £300 a month which includes feed, bedding, rent and insurance. On top of this we have vet bills, site upkeep and improvements and various anomalies to ensure the safe keeping and good welfare of the animals as well as maintaining a well-kept site for the town and local residents.
We offer volunteering opportunities for DofE, work apprenticeships, college placements and the general public who have a love and desire to be around animals.
If you are able to spare any funds to help this cause which benefits the animals and the community of Malmesbury then we will be forever grateful.
2022 saw us receive over 80 applications for volunteering, the majority of which have helped in some way.
This is an ongoing fundraiser with no deadline but we hope to raise this amount over the course of the next couple of years to support our outgoings.

Thank you on behalf of Sox, Matilda, Spud, Vinnie, Teddy, Gin, Sammy, Boomer, Sydney, Irwin, Cha Cha, Doble, Emy, Morris, Thelma, Louise and all of the chickens. xxx
