Hello everyone,
I come to you to ask for a favor. As many of you know, the wildfires in California and Oregon have become unmanageable. Unfortunately, tragedy struck hard today in my own world as, Ellyshia, my best friend of 20 years and her boyfriend Alex have lost their home due to the fires in Sequoia National Forest in Springville, CA. Ellyshia is a 5th grade teacher in Porterville, CA and today all of her and Alex's belongings and valued possessions were taken away from them this morning as the fire consumed the entire town they were living in. As many of you know, this was the same house I was living at, for many years, before moving to the central coast back in 2018. However, I still would frequently visit on a monthly basis and during the holiday's. Many years of memories were locked into this house as well as the area itself. Those of you who visited knew what a beautiful place it was. Forced to evacuate with her elderly mother in toe and four grown dogs, all are trying to survive this sudden evacuation while they temporarily stay with friends. Unfortunately, this arrangement will only last a short while until bigger plans can be put into place. What I am asking of all my friends is if you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Any help is help indeed. Would you please help in supporting my dearest friends in the world as they attempt to pick up the pieces from this terrible situation. God bless to all!
