Memphis Goodwill is in the business of changing lives. Now, one of our very own needs our help.

Recently, one of our employees, Robert Montgomery, was robbed and shot in both legs while on his way to work. We’re thankful this incident didn’t cause more harm, but the road to recovery promises to be long and difficult.

Robert has had the first of what could be several surgeries and rehabilitation ahead of him. He will be out of work for a while, if not indefinitely. For more than 40 years, Robert has made a difference in the lives of others by being a part of the Memphis Goodwill family – now is our turn to help him.

Let’s help Robert and his family focus on his recovery and not this horrible incident. As we all know unexpected expenses can cause stress under normal conditions.  When something of this magnitude happens, I can only imagine how the smallest of things can appear to be insurmountable.
