Improve Spooky TV/SpookySouthcoast.com

As Spooky Southcoast celebrates enters its ninth year on the air at WBSM-AM, we've put an increased focus over the years on providing innovation along with intriguing and entertaining paranormal talk. A few years ago, we debuted Spooky TV--our online video network at SpookySouthcoast.com--as a way to see "inside" the Spooky Studio and get a behind-the-scenes look at the way the show is produced.Well, we're still using the same equipment (laptop, webcams, etc) that we've been using since we first launched Spooky TV. And even as our network has grown to include other programming in addition to our own (with more planned in the future), we've been limited by the technology we possess. As we've said many times before, we are not paid for the show, and the costs for everything from podcasting to website maintenance to producing Spooky TV comes directly out of our pockets. In the past, we've tried different approaches to raising funds to help defray some of these costs, and now we're turning to you, the Spooky Southcoast audience. The $5500 we're asking for would be used to purchase a laptop and/or desktop that can produce high-quality HD programming, as well as the necessary cameras and peripherals to make it happen. Our show is downloaded tens of thousands of time each and every day--millions of times over our our eight years on the air--so we're hoping our audience can donate just a few dollars in order to help us maintain this level of interesting, engaging and FREE programming for many years to come.
