Fund-raising for Templeogue Swim Club (TSC)
Don protégé
I'm raising funds for Templeogue Swim Club (TSC) – the pool where I train with the Masters squad and where my son swims in his Improvers class.
This isn't just any pool. It's the pool where Ellen Walshe, double Olympian and multiple Irish senior record holder, trained and continues to swim. For my family and me, it's the place where we found our passion for swimming. My son dreams of competing in the 2036 Olympics when he turns 18, just like Ellen.
TSC is committed to developing the next generation of swimmers – athletes who will go on to represent themselves, their communities, and possibly even Team Ireland on the world stage. This fund-raising effort will help cover costs for travel to competitions across Ireland and internationally, giving young swimmers the experience they need to grow and compete.
To raise €500, I’m taking on a personal challenge:
- I will swim 13,000 metres between April 28 and May 12.
- I’ll post updates and notes here along the way to share my progress.
Please consider supporting this cause. Together, we can empower the swimmers of today to become the champions of tomorrow.
Thank you!
