Fiona's Virtual Sponsored Ride

I decided to make some use of this lockdown by raising some much-needed funds for charity. All charities are struggling terribly since the beginning of this pandemic.
I’m running a virtual sponsored ride. It will be run on Saturday the 28th of November between 2pm and 4pm. The idea is that everyone will ride at the same time. Ride for as long as you want during the two hours. Hack, do flat work in your arena, whatever you choose, obviously staying within the government Covid guidelines, and post photos on Facebook after. Obviously, you ensure your surface is safe and you wear appropriate safety hat, and back protector if needed. There will be no insurance covering this event as you will be riding in a place of your own choice. Whatever money is raised it will be divided equally between the four charities below:
My Lovely Horse Rescue - doing great work in Ireland
The Lucy Irvine foundation - which looks after working horses in Bulgaria stray cats and dogs.
The Samaritans - who were already overstretched before this second lockdown.
Breast Cancer Ireland - doing essential work for cancer patients
Everyone who enters will be sent a commemorative rosette, which is being designed, made and kindly sponsored by Centrepiece Rosettes. You will be asked to Pay €16 on entering and €1 goes towards posting the rosettes. The idea is to have a bit of fun and raise some money at the same time. HOW TO TAKE PART
1. Donate €16 (this includes rosette postage)
2. Sign the disclaimer and email a signed copy along with your postage address
3. Ride on Saturday 28th November between 2pm and 4pm
4. Send us any pics (by email or WhatsApp) or tag Fiona Furey in them on Facebook
5. Money raised will be split between the charities
