Sponsored Silence For World Challenge

24 HOURS DIGITAL & VERBAL SILENCE  - AS PART OF MY WORLD CHALLENGE TRIP FUNDRAISING

For those that know me, you’ll know I can chat! Keeping quiet is probably the same challenge for me as it would be for you to climb a mountain. I also love screens. So a verbal and digital silence for 24 hours is a big challenge for me. 

I intend to do this challenge on Sunday 1st December at 7am - Monday 2nd December at 7am.  My parents will be the judges and if I mess it up (which I hope I won't) I'll do it again on another date until I'm silent for 24 hours. 

If you could sponsor me any amount it would be awesome. I need to raise £1800 by April 2020 to fund 90% of my World Challenge Trip to Morocco. This silence is just one part of my fundraising. You’ll spot me doing all sorts over the next few months including selling doughnuts, selling on Ebay (where I will share a % of the profits), car boot selling, babysitting, designing and a load of other stuff. I am going to work very hard until I reach my target. 

MY WORLD CHALLENGE

I’ll be doing life changing things. Highlights include travelling on the ‘Road of a Thousand Kasbahs’ to get to my hike, trekking in the Atlas mountains, climbing through the breathtaking Dades Gorge, camping each night outdoors, visiting Berber villages, camel trekking into the Sahara desert, watching the sunset over the Sahara dunes, climbing up the incredible dunes, spending the night in a Berber desert camp.

Most of the trip is in quite extreme conditions and the experience is expected to be enriching and challenging. There is one ‘holiday’ element at the end, when we arrive in Marrakech and have a few hours to visit the souks.
