Sponsored Cycle for The Alzheimer's Society

We are cycling 100 hours in 2 weeks to raise money for The Alzheimer's Society and every donation helps. This is in aid of the Care UK - lets get physical campaign, which encourages residents to be more active between January 1st and 21st. The cycling commenced on Friday 7th January and will continue till Friday 21st January. Residents, staff and relatives have all been taking part and we are working hard to reach our goal. The Alzheimer's Society was the charity chosen by the residents. They chose The Alzheimer's Society for their commitment in maintaining, improving and promoting their unique knowledge and understanding of dementia. They seek to define and develop quality in its activities and services, to be inclusive of all communities but in particular people with dementia, their families and the professionals who work with them and to work in partnership with other organisations who share its aims.
