Dear friends,
We are hoping to open the school in September to all children in all classes.
To enable us to do this we will have to purchase 127 single desks @ €46 each - €5842 total cost approximately.
The Board of Management has already spent over €2,500 for sanitiser, perspex, visors, floor markings etc.
If we raise more money we will purchase enough single desks for all classes 3rd - 6th which would make it much more comfortable for the boys in all their rooms and enable the entire school to return in September. For that we would have to raise €5842.
We are putting out a request that parents, staff and friends would "Sponsor a desk" or make a donation towards our effort to open the school for all. Any help would be appreciated.
This is also now on on Aladdin ePayments for parents and we hope you might consider our request.
If we do have surplus at the end of this fundraising initiative the money will be put towards the cost of erecting a temporary music room. Our original room has to be changed to a classroom for Junior Infants for 2020/2021, while our Special Classes are being built.
